Idén lesz 20 éves a Casketgarden 2003-as This Corroded Soul of Mine lemeze, amit a Metal.hu és a zenekar egy speciális újrakiadással ünnepel. A lemez két féle formátumban: 100 db-os limitált fehér/rozsdabarna márvány bakeliten és digipack CD-n jelenik majd meg, mivel korábban ezeken a formátumokon nem volt elérhető.
A bakelit az eredeti 10 dalos hanganyagot tartalmazza majd, speciálisan vinylre remasterelve, a digipack CD 3 darab bónusz számmal lesz kibővítve, ami 2002-es The Non-Existent promo demo 3 dalának (Non-Existent, The Day When Silence Died, 7th Scar) albumnál korábbi verzióit tartalmazza majd, szintén remasterelve. Ez promo anyag sosem volt szélesebb körben terjesztve, csak barátok, média és kiadók kaptak belőle és ez volt az felvétel, amivel annak idején a Casketgarden leszerződött a Metal Age Productions-höz, és ezzel egyike lett az első magyar metal zenekaroknak, akiknek külföldi lemezszerződéssel rendelkeztek.

A This Corroded Soul of Mine anyag a Metal Age egyik legnagyobb példányszámban értékesített CD-je volt a megjelenés idején, illetve egy orosz licensz kiadást is létezik a CD Maximum gondozásában. A lemez tette ismerté a Casketgarden nevét itthon és külföldön, számos koncertet, fesztiválfellépést és elismerést hozott a zenekarnak. Legutóbb Bali Dávid 2021-es kisterem c. könyvében válogatták be a 2000-es évek 100 legnagyobb hatású magyar albuma közé.
A 2023-as remasterizálás a „tett” eredeti helyszínén, a Denevér Stúdióban történtek Cserfalvi Zoltán felügyelete mellett zajlott.

The Hungarian Casketgarden’s 2003 This Corroded Soul of Mine full length album celebrates its 20th birthday this year, which occasion will be celebrated by a special 20th anniversary reissue by the metal.hu and the band.
The album will be released in two formats: a white/rust marble vinyl 100 pcs limited print and digipack CD. The material has never before been released on vinyl or as a digipack CD, only as jewel case CD.
The vinyl record will contain the original 10 song / 37 minutes material, specifically remastered for vinyl from the original masters.
The digipack CD will include 3 bonus tracks from Casketgarden’s “The Non-Existent” promo demo from 2002 (selected “Demo of the Month” by the Danish Mighty Music Magazine at the time). This means pre-album versions of three songs: Non-Existent, The Day When Silenced Died, and 7th Scar. This promo material has never been released before to the wider audience as it was only distributed among friends, labels and media. This is the very demo that helped the band to sign a record deal with the Slovakian Metal Age Productions and release the first album and to became one of the first Hungarian metal bands to sign a record and distribution deal with a label abroad.
This Corroded Soul of Mine was one of Metal Age’s most selling CD at the time, and it even had a Russian licence version by CD Maximum. The album made Casketgarden’s name better known in Hungary and abroad, resulted in countless shows, festival appearances (Sziget Fesztival, Brutal Assault etc) and appreciation. In 2021 the album was selected as one of the 100 most influential Hungarian metal records of the 00s by a book called “kisterem” (“small room”) by a Hungarian music journalist and author Dávid Bali.
The 2023 remasters were done at the original “crime scene” Studio Denevér by the albums’ original sound engineer Zoltán Cserfalvi.
